Microsoft Is Working On Porting Xbox Games To The Switch 2
Though Nintendo has not commented on any third-party releases from Microsoft, the latter’s approach to bringing Xbox titles to portable platforms extends beyond the Switch 2. According to some leaks,Xbox is partnering with ASUS for its ROG Ally 2. Under the working title of “Project Kennan,” one version of the upcoming ROG Ally 2 will include dedicated Xbox features and an 8-core AMD Ryzen Z2 Extreme APU. The ASUS ROG Ally 2’s price and release date are unknown at the time of writing.
Despite a chaotic pre-order window, Nintendo has claimed that millions of Switch 2 consoles will be ready to ship throughout the system’s first year of availability. WithNintendo confirmed to be at Gamescom, it remains to be seen if Microsoft and Nintendo will reveal anything for the Switch 2 at that time.
