Call of Duty Fans Aren’t Happy With the New Ballerina Event
Call of Duty’s newBallerinaeventdoesn’t appear to have bucked that trend, as it has once again sparked controversy among players. The event only kicked off on Thursday, June 5, but it didn’t take long for fans to take to social media to express their disappointment. Reddit user dankahhh called it the “worst event inBlack Ops 6so far,” while ElemWiz said the event seems “lackluster” and also critiqued the newBallerinaoperator skin, calling it “bland.”
Plenty of other players seem to agree, as therepetitiveness of eachCall of Dutyeventappears to be taking a toll on the community. UserKnautical_Jsaid they are “so sick of the ‘collect these arbitrary tokens’ events,” whileEvenspace-blasted them as “lazy” and said it is “just the same thing” every single time. For those who might be unaware, many ofBlack Ops 6’s events require players to collect some form of tokens in either Multiplayer, Zombies, orWarzone. They can then be exchanged for rewards during the event.
