Now, the third andfinal part ofWorld of WarcraftPatch 11.1.5is almost here. Dastardly Duos is a new limited-time event coming to the game on June 3. A Building Azeroth development video about this feature went into further detail about how it works; players can step into the arena with premade groups, strangers, NPC Follower allies, or even completely alone. After fighting hordes of classic enemies, fans face off against two iconic bosses from the past, wracking up points the better they perform. Powerful buffs and powers can be used to turn the tide of battle in their favor – though those seeking even greater challenges can nerf themselves with the Shrimpy Fish or Hot Dog to gain multipliers on their point totals.
World of Warcraft Dastardly Duos Start and End Dates
There are some exciting new rewards to obtain in Dastardly Duos, including the Tyrannotort mount, the Mean-Ball pet, and Champion track gear. Several toys can be earned from this event as well, including the Winner’s Podium – a toy that lets players display their Dastardly Duos score and item level – and the Dastardly Banner, which aggros all enemies in the arena when used during the event. These rewards are earned by completing introductory and weekly quests offered by Vinnie Sweets near the event venues in Dornogal, Stormwind, and Orgrimmar.
The bosses themselves are drawn from some of themost iconic dungeons from earlyWorld of Warcraft, including Rattlegore from Scholomance, Glubtok from Deadmines, and Broggok from Blood Furnace. Four of the 10 bosses will be available the first week, with more added incrementally throughout the event. Though fans only face two of these bosses at once normally, players looking for more challenge and greater point totals can use the Bullhorn of Calling during the match to summon extra bosses – ambitious contestants can even face all of them at once.
