World of Warcraftwill soon allow players to pick up Puzzling Cartel Chip quests from weeks they missed out on to quickly catch up to other characters. This highly-requested feature for theWorld of WarcraftSeason 2 Turbo Boost goes live with the weekly reset starting June 10.

The Turbo Boost is a new event that began on May 13 that drastically improves the gearing and progression rates forWorld of Warcraft: The War WithinSeason 2. In addition to improvements like better Delve rewards andValorstones being transferrable acrossWoWcharacters, the Turbo Boost includes the addition of Puzzling Cartel Chips, a special currency that can be exchanged for powerful gear.

World of Warcraft The War Within

Now,World of Warcraftis implementing a new change to Puzzling Cartel Chips that will make earning them much easier. Each character can earn a total of nine Puzzling Cartel Chips – three in the first week, and one in subsequent ones – by defeating fourWoW: The War WithinLiberation of Undermine raid bossesor Mythic dungeons. Previously, players could only complete one of the quests that reward Puzzling Cartel Chips each week, meaning those who didn’t would be behind. However, starting with the weekly reset on June 10, characters will be able to accept these missed quests back-to-back.

June 10 marks the fifth week since the Turbo Boost began, meaning fans who haven’t missed any previous quests can earn their seventh Puzzling Cartel Chip – and with three required for a single piece of gear, start saving for their last item. Had Blizzard not made this change, characters who started these quests this week would have needed to wait until July 8 to catch up to their more diligent peers. Now, they can grind out these quests all at once, letting them quickly catch up or gear out alts with ease.

The week of June 24 marks the unlock of thefinal Puzzling Cartel Chip quest for allWorld of Warcraftplayers. From that point until the end ofThe War WithinSeason 2, every character will be able to churn through the quests to earn all nine Puzzling Cartel Chips with no timegates. Needless to say, the many fans who requested this change are overjoyed to see it finally implemented.

The Turbo Boost will continue to be available until Patch 11.2 and the end of Season 2. While this update hasn’t been formally revealed yet, it will likely arrive around two months after Patch 11.1.7, whicharrives inWorld of Warcrafton June 17. This means players will have until around mid-to-late August to get their Puzzling Cartel Chips and finish their other Season 2 milestones.
