All Bolus Buffs In Elden Ring Nightreign

There are seven different Boluses, and all of them have different effects in-game, on top of the minor healing they provide. Even though some of these might be more useful than others, it depends more so on the area you are in or the Nightlord you are going to fight at the end of the Expedition. Here are the effects of all seven of the Boluses that you can find throughout Limveld:

Even though most players might consider using these items to cure a Status Ailment and be done with them, there is a much more important factor that some might not notice. On top of curing the Status Ailment, the Boluses also give permanent resistance to the Ailments. This can completely change the outcome of certain boss fights,as you can use the Bolus consecutively and have them stack for the buffs. This ishighly effective against bossesthat tend to deal more damage through the Status Effects, likeLibraorCaligo.

How To Get All Boluses In Elden Ring Nightreign

Thelocations for the Boluses are randomly generated on the map of Limveld. This means that you’re able to’t simply head over to a specific location to find the Bolus. However, there are a few locations and things you can check out to find these items. Firstly, the Churches where you acquire theFlask upgradeshave four boxes or crates nearby that you can break by Surge Sprinting through them or attacking them. These boxes have a chance of dropping one or more Boluses, most of which can be different from one another. In the case that you are not lucky enough to find any Boluses in the Church, you should make your way to other locations, such as Ruins, Forts, Encampments, or the Castle, where you will find loads of boxes that you can break for a chance of getting these items.

Aside from the boxes, you’re able to also find specific Boluses that drop from enemies that might inflict the same Status Effects. For example, the Frenzied Villagers have a chance of dropping the Clarifying Boluses, or theDeathblight Rats have a chance of dropping the Rejuvenating Boluses. One ofthe Night Bosses,Wormface, has constant enemies spawning during the fight that players can defeat to have a chance of getting the Rejuvenating Boluses from them, which will help take out Wormface easily.
