Players need to accumulate Runesto purchase items from a merchant. However, they’ll need to carefully spend them, leaving just enough for leveling up at a Site of Grace. With that said, let’s explore everything you need to know about merchants inNightreign.
Where to Find Merchants in Elden Ring Nightreign
There aretwo types of merchantsinElden Ring Nightreign, one found in Limveld’s open world, and the other found in the Spirit Shelter. Players can purchase a variety of stuff like weapons, shields, consumables, talismans, and throwables from a merchant. In addition to the shop aspect, there’s always a Smithing Table next to a merchant that allow players touse Smithing Stones and upgrade their weaponrarity & stats.
One of the best ways to locate a merchant while on an expedition is toidentify a Township symbol on the map. These symbols are displayed as a group of buildings stacked together, forming a town. After entering a Township in Nighreign, you’ll always find a merchant sitting around a campfire there. This is the confirmed location of a vendor in Limveld.
Apart from the one present in a Township, othermerchants locations are always randomized, and players will need to explore the map in order to find them. The best point to start is looking around the forts and camps closest to your location. You’ll find a merchant in their vicinity, to help you get the items you need.
There’s also a special merchant that players will encounter after surviving Night 2 in Limveld aftertraveling to the Spirit Shelter. Spirit Shelter is an area just before the Nightlord Boss. The special merchant does not have weapons or other gear pieces, but instead sells higher-rarity support items that will aid you in facing the Nightlord ahead.
How Do Merchants Work in Nightreign
While players can find multiple merchantsin Limveld, all of theirinventory is shared. This means all vendors will have the same offerings, and if you purchase a complete stock of an item from a single merchant, all other merhants will have that items out of stock as well.
In addition to this, theweapons and shields you spot at a merchant are meant to be compatible with your own class. Other party members will see a different set of gear items on a merchant.
