If you’re a diehard Nintendo fan, you probably picked up a Nintendo Switch 2 by now (if you were able to get one -apparently it wasn’t too hard for people). Anyway, if you’re also adiehardSplatoonfan (like me), then there’s a good chance you installedSplatoon 3on your shiny new system to see how much better it looks. However, Nintendo didn’t give the multiplayer ink shooter any upgrades… until now!

Nintendo announced, via theNintendo Today appof all places (and then on X), that not only isSplatoon 3getting a Switch 2 upgrade on June 12, but there’s also aSplatoonspin-off game in development calledSplatoon Raiders. The update will makeSplatoon 3run better and look better on the Switch 2, but that’s not all. Nintendo is also throwing Urchin Underpass into the stage rotation, raising the cap on Freshness, and giving players a bunch of new weapons that fall under theSplatlands Collection–there’s a lot to look forward to.
