Much like its predecessors,Rune Factory: Guardians of Azumais a mystical, anime-inspired adventure with gameplay that hearkens back, in many ways, to classic RPGs. The world of Azuma is full of open areas for players to explore, quests to embark on, and village activities to enjoy.
While there are many things to keep track of inRune Factory: Guardians of Azuma, one of the most important is your character’s personal level progression. The guide below explains how leveling works and what level cap to expect, if there is one.
How to Level Up in Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma
From the moment that you first arrive inSpring Villageat the start of the game, your character will start at Level 1 with plenty of room to grow. Much like other RPGs, you use EXP to level your character and expand their skills and capabilities as anEarth Dancer.
The primary way to earn EXP and level up during your adventures is via combat, defeating enemies and bosses found in the areas outside each village. The EXP comes in surprisingly generous amounts, especially early on, allowing you and your party members togain levels at a very consistent and reliable pace.
Keep in mind thatgeneral EXP that goes toward your character’s combat level is different from the All-Purpose Experience Pointsyou earn at the end of each day upon going to sleep in the shrine. Those points are specifically used to unlock nodes on your skill tree and all of its different categories. The wider variety of activities you perform daily (tending to crops, fishing, combat, etc.), the more All-Purpose Experience Points you’ll gain.
What is Max Level in Rune Factory Guardians of Azuma?
Theredoesn’t currently seem to be a defined maximum character level capinRune Factory: Guardians of Azuma. If the previous games in the franchise are anything to go on, then the level cap itself is likely very, very high. This allows players to pursue continuous progress with their current character, especially if additionalstory contentis provided in future updates.
If a known level cap is reached at any point, this guide section will be promptly updated to reflect that information.
