Dexterity is a stat that players may overlook, but can be incredibly important when paired with the right weapons and items, and completely pointless with others. What Is Dexterity in Elden Ring Nightreign?
The Stat of Choice for Fast Blades
TheDexterity stat determines the effectiveness of a character with fast and precise weapons like katanas, twinblades, and rapiers. The higher a character’s Dexterity skill, the more damage their attacks will do with these types of weapons. It also allows a character to attack faster with these weapons and reduces the casting time for certain spells, further increasing damage output with them.
How to Increase Dexterity in Elden Ring Nightreign
Pick the Right Nightfarer and Relics
As is the case with other stats inElden Ring Nightreign,Dexterity will increase asplayers level up their character at a Site of Graceby spending runes. The number of points that each stat goes up by is predetermined by the character class. So, a class like the Executor, which excels with Dexterity-based weapons, will see larger increases in this stat than something like a Raider or a Revenant, which scale Strength and Faith, respectively. This is howElden Ring Nightreignsimplifies the leveling system compared to the original game, with each Nightfarer scaling different stats based on their proficiencies in combats.
There are other ways to increase Dexterity, such as by equipping Runes.Blessed Flowersis a relic that can give a +3 Dexterity boost and is earned as areward for completing the Executor’s Remembrance quest.
Best Nightfarers for Dexterity Scaling in Elden Ring Nightreign
Executor Reigns Supreme
As noted above, theExecutor is the best Nightfarerfor Dexterity scaling. The Blessed Flowers Relic is particularly useful for boosting its Dexterity skill, and its starting weapon is the Executor’s Blade, which is a great weapon for this skill.
The next best option is the Ironeye, as Dexterity also scales the best out of its stats, but not quite as well as it will with the Executor. It also starts with a bow, which is ideal for scaling with Dexterity. However, you can also use other Dex weapons such as daggers, twinblades, rapiers, or katanas should you prefer to get up close and personal with enemies rather than taking the ranged approach. The Duchess and Wylder are follow-up options as a last resort, but are far better suited to scaling Strength and Intelligence, respectively, and are generally more difficult to create Dex builds with. Newcomers who do want to try a Dex build should go with the Executor. However, it should be noted that it isn’t the easiest Nightfarer for beginners to use in general.
