Undisputed’s Next Update Coming “Late June/Early July”

In the officialUndisputedDiscord, Steel City Interactive’s community manager revealed that the studio is “aiming for another update and DLC pack late June/early July.” He then went on to state that fans should “stay tuned for details on the patch” as more specific information on what improvements will be included in the update will likely be shared before its release. Fans can also expect Steel City to continue its trend of releasingcontroversial DLC packs forUndisputedalongside new patch updates. Although the exact fighters to be included in the next pack have not been confirmed as of yet.

While Steel City Interactive seemed to have found a good rhythm in releasingnewUndisputedupdatesover the last few months, deploying four patches in five weeks, fans have been left disappointed by the long wait for the game’s next update. Assuming the upcoming patch sticks to the proposed release window and arrives later this month, it will have been almost two months between updates, which some fans believe is unacceptable. Reddit userTiny_Fun_3884responded to the announcement by saying, “Better be a whole new game at that point,” whileEast_Difficulty_7342said Steel City Interactive is “just trolling at this point.”

Although fans are seemingly unhappy with the consistency of the game’s updates, players didpraise one ofUndisputed’s recent updates. Back in April, a big new patch made some significant changes to the game’s punch tracking, as well as many other fixes. The response to the update was, for once, overwhelmingly positive, with fans stating that they were “surprised” by how “solid and snappy” the game felt after the update. Users also praised Steel City for releasing a steady stream of new updates to address players' complaints, but the long wait forUndisputed’s next update may have just ruined the good standing the studio recently built with the community.
