Adjust InZOI’s City Settings

Adjust the Day Length

Zois age quickly. Luckily, an update was added that allows the player to change the length of days in the gameplay options. To do this, go to the Game Options menu, and select Simulation. There will be several Length of Day options that can be adjusted, ranging from 48 minutes to 24 hours, allowing one Zoi day to mirror one day in real life.

In the same Game Options menu, players are also able to enable or disable aging for their Zoi or the other Zois in the city. As it can be difficult to achieve everything in one Zoi lifespan, changing the day length and pausing aging are two options that are lifesavers.

Change the City Settings

Choosing a city to play in is an important step.InZOIcurrently has two playable cities, Dowon and Bliss Bay, and has a third, Kucingku, that’s planned to be added in an update later in 2025. All ofInZOI’s cities are culturally and aesthetically distinct and offer different ways of life for Zois.

InZOIcities can be managed in several key ways, including cleanliness, animals that appear, small details, plants and foliage, and the addition of decorations. These can all be adjusted in the City Appearance tab, and can change a city’s appearance from its default to looking like the scene of a post-apocalyptic wasteland.

Understanding Zoi Gameplay

Experiment with Smart Zoi

Smart Zoi is a feature that is only available on PCs with higher-end specs. In particular, a high-end GPU is required enable Smart Zoi. For those who can, though,Smart Zoi is a great experimental featurethat aims to make Zois more interesting. Players can specify how they want their Zois to behave, and the Zoi’s inner thoughts and autonomous actions will reflect that instruction.

Smart Zoi has some amusing results, with Inner Thoughts sometimes becoming obsessive. Because it’s a new and experimental feature, Smart Zoi may encounter some glitches or logical inconsistencies. That said, it’s a great way to push the boundaries of what Zois are capable of, and makes gameplay more unpredictable.

Understand Zoi Karma

Each Zoi has karma, which changes according to their actions on a scale that ranges from Best to Terrible. Cities with karma sliding into the negative range need to improve their karma by going to the individual Zoi’s household and improving their karma with good deeds, or scolding them. The karma system hasn’t been fully implemented yet; it is meant to be closelyconnected withInZOI’s ghosts. Many players ignore the city karma system for the moment for this reason, but individual Zoi karma can be used for storytelling, or for making money, fast.

Make Money Quickly

Zois can get a job to earn money, but one of the best ways to earn a lot of money in a short amount of time without using cheats is through the lottery. To win the lottery, the player needs tomax their Zoi’s karma, then compliment the Zoi in the Edit City screen. Select the Winning Lottery buff, and have the Zoi play the lottery. They will win a minimum of 34k Meow with every attempt during the duration of the buff, with the grand prize being 1 million Meow.
