The Slormancerhasthree different charactersthat the player can choose from: The Knight, the Huntress, and the Mage. Of the three, the most mystical is the mage. As a mage, you won’t be able to take a lot of hits, but you can deal a lot of damage very fast.
One of the more confusing mechanics of the mage is the Arcane Clone. Many skills refer to the Arcane Clone, but you won’t know how to cast one or how it works unless you read the fine text and explore further in the skill tree.
How Does Arcane Clone Work in The Slormancer?
The mage isn’t a tricky character to play, though the existence of an enigmatic Arcane Clone might lead you to believe otherwise. Essentially, an arcane clone is aside-effect of certain skill upgrades, and not a skill in and of itself.
Arcane clones cast the same skill continuously and last until you cast a new one. The skills cast by Arcane cones have the same damage as if you were casting them, but the clone casts at a slower speed than you, i.e., it has -35% attack speed.
All Skills and Skill Upgrades That Cast Arcane Clone
An arcane clone can be createdthrough a few different spellsif certain upgrades are equipped. There are six upgrades in the game that let the player cast arcane clones, each one unlocking at different tiers for different skills.
How to Increase the Number of Arcane Clones in The Slormancer
Normally, you will only be able to have a single Arcane Clone active at a time. However, there are twoskill upgrades for the Mischievous Magethat can increase the number of clones, and both can be equipped at the same time. However, you must have the Arcane Commander specialization to have them, since they are upgrades of the support skill: Arcane Barrier.
