Loved by many, equally hated by many, the series has undoubtedly attracted a lot of attention every time a new season airs onCrunchyroll.
Based on the novel series of the same name by Aneko Yusagi, the series revolves around Naofumi Iwatani, an ordinary young Japanese man who is suddenly summoned to a parallel world. Which Arcs Will Season 4 Cover?
Beforediving into whereShield Hero Season 3ended, it is important to note that the anime is very different from the novel, as it has skipped many parts of the original story (including whole volumes). That said, Season 3 covered up to Volume 12. So,Season 4should start with Volume 13, concluding the Siltvelt Succession Arc, and perhaps also covering part of the Heavenly Emperor Arc.
Studio Kinema Citrus is once again in charge of the animation, with Hitoshi Haga returning to direct the next season (he directedSeason 3). The first two seasons were written by Keigo Koyonagi, but Season 3 only credits “Kinema Citrus” for the story; there is a chance that the new seasonwill follow the same pattern.
Shield Herois available to stream on Crunchyroll, subbed and dubbed in many languages. It may also be on Netflix in select countries.
