Players who log intoFortniteon a Nintendo Switch 2 by July 17, 2025, will receive the Wishing Star emote for free. In the blog post announcing the freebie, Epic Games even referenced Kirby by saying, “Grab a shooting star, make a wish, and throw it back! You can’t go on an air ride with it, but it’s the next best thing.” This is a not-so-subtle nod to theupcomingKirby Air Ridersgame for the Switch 2.
