This made it only the second PlayStation-published game to cross the 100K mark on the platform. The only other one that managed to do it wasHelldivers 2, which came out in early 2024 and grew into a massive hit, eventually peaking at over 458,000 concurrent players.

This edition also added 25 new character outfits, a new boss, and more voiceover options, including Japanese and Simplified Chinese, giving players a more polished global experience.

Developer Shift Up has already confirmed thata sequel toStellar Bladeis in development, and it plans to release it before 2027.
