Shift Up has released a free demo for the PC version ofStellar Bladeahead of the game’s launch on June 11 on Steam and Epic Games Store. TheStellar Bladedemo gives players the opportunity to test out their PCs and see if they’re ready to run the game before launch.
Released on July 22, 2025,Stellar Bladequickly became a huge hit with over a million copies sold in its first two months, despite being a PlayStation 5-console exclusive at the time. The character-driven action game became Shift Up’s biggest release to date, allowing theGoddess of Victory: NIKKEdeveloper to invest in its future projects, including aStellar Bladesequel. The company also raised $320 million from investors through a successful Initial Public Offering. Before Shift Up places its focus on newer projects,Stellar Bladeis heading to PC alongside a Complete Edition, which includes theGoddess of Victory: NIKKEcollaboration DLC.

The official Twitter account forStellar Bladeconfirmed that a free demo for the PC version is now available in nearly 250 regions around the world. TheStellar Bladedemo includes the beginning of the first stage and the game’s first boss battle. After clearing the main demo’s content, an additional mode will unlock, allowing the player to fight a mid-boss encounter as a final sneak peek before the PC version’s full release. Shift Up also confirmed that a number of different outfits and skills are available in the demo, so players do have some customization options to work with. Once complete, players can carry over their save data fromtheStellar Bladedemoto the full game.

What’s more, Shift Up revealed the laptop test specifications forStellar Bladeto give players an idea of the performance they can expect outside gaming PCs. Regarding graphics, the Nvidia RTX 3050 Ti 4 GB laptop GPU is the minimum-recommended GPU for players wanting to experienceStellar Bladeat 1080p 60 FPS with low settings. For players wanting to enjoyStellar Bladeat 1440p 60 FPS or higher at medium settings, a device with the laptop version of the Nvidia RTX 3060 6 GB GPU or better is recommended. These GPUs are recommended alongside an eight-core CPU from recent Intel generations and 16 GB of RAM in order to fully supportStellar Blade’simpressive PC features.
Shift Up teases that the developers are working hard to deliver “even more exciting news.” It’s unclear what this news could entail forStellar Blade, but it has already been confirmed thata collaboration betweenGoddess of Victory: NIKKEandStellar Bladewill be held in the mobile game.
