Squid GameSeason 3 is inching closer to its official release on Netflix, and fans are growing eager to finally witnessSeong Gi-hun’s fate in the final season. The second season of the Korean survival game series brought back some old faces, but it also introduced us to several new characters who joined the game to win the huge pile of money.

One of these new characters is Player 222, Kim Jun-hee, who entered the games to secure a better future for herself and her unborn child. She is one of those characters that you instantly start to love, so it’s understandable why fans want her to make it out alive in the third season. Well, it’s hard to say what the creators have planned for Kim Jun-hee in Season 3 ofSquid Game; however, an official poster from Netflix hints at a dark fate for the beloved character.

Kim Jun-hee Might Not Make It Out Alive In Season 3

Netflix recently released abrand-new trailerforSquid GameSeason 3, which suggests that the final season willfeaturea lot ofdeaths. Of course, fans are accustomed to seeing their favourite characters meet a dark end, but they still wish for some characters to make it out alive. In the first season, it was Ali’s death that shocked fans the most, and now, fans are worried that Kim Jun-hee will meet a similar, if not more gruesome, fate in Season 3.

Kim Jun-hee is one of those characters who doesn’t have what it takes to survive these dirty games, but fans still hope for the character to get a happy ending in the upcoming season. Unfortunately, though, there’s a chance that Player 222 won’t survive the games in the final season.

Along with the new trailer, Netflix released a series of official posters featuring different characters, one of them being for Kim Jun-hee. In the poster, you can see anOctopus paper art in the background, and fans think that the creators are hinting at a dark fate for the character with this imagery. Apparently, afemale octopus dies after giving birth, and since Kim Jun-hee is also pregnant, fans think a similar fate will befall her in the third season.

In the first teaser of Squid Game Season 3, we canhear the cry of the newborn baby, which means thatKim Jun-hee will successfully give birth to the child. However, if the theory is legit and the octopus in the official poster does hold significance, Kim Jun-hee might not survive the games. This can go two ways: Kim Jun-hee might either die right after giving birth, or she might die later on while playing a game or during the Lights Out. Regardless of how it happens, Kim Jun-hee’s death will surely be aheartbreaking moment forSquid Gamefans. Also, the presence of a newborn child at a place where everyone is out for blood makes the entire thing all the more frightening.

That being said, it’s entirely possible that the creators are simply messing with fans with the official poster of Kim Jun-hee, and she might actually survive the games. Honestly,Kim Jun-hee walking out alive with her child is an ending that we would like to see, but, of course, it’sSquid Game, so it’s best to be prepared for the worst and a lot of heartbreaks.

Kim Jun-hee Will Get Some Help InSquid GameSeason 3

Player 333 Will Do Everything He Can To Help Kim Jun-hee Survive

Kim Jun-hee entered the games hoping to get out of debt and have enough money to raise her child. Like Thanos, Kim Jun-hee also gets buried in huge debt after investing in a hoax cryptocurrency marketed by her ex-boyfriend Lee Myung-gi. However, she didn’t expect Lee Myung-gi to also take part in the games. While Kim Jun-hee hates Myung-gi for leaving her to deal with the pregnancy alone, she still loves and cares about him.

Lee Myung-gi also seems to feel the same for Kim Jun-hee, and he hates the fact that she has put her life at risk by entering the deadly games. Regardless of what happened in the past,LeeMyung-gi and Kim Jun-heefound comfort in each other during Season 2, and Myung-gi did everything in his power to help Kim Jun-hee survive. Well, that won’t change in Season 3 either, as Kim Jun-hee will need the support of not only Lee Myung-gi but some other players as well to survive the final rounds.

Seong Gi-hun will obviously help Kim Jun-hee, and we might also see some other players coming in support of Kim Jun-hee. In fact, we won’t be surprised if Lee Myung-gi sacrifices himself to save Kim Jun-hee and their newly-born child.

Lee Myung-gi isn’t a bad person; he is simply a product of bad decisions. The boy surely feels guilty for dragging several people, including his ex-girlfriend, into huge debt. So, helping Kim Jun-hee walk out alive with their child and a huge amount of cash could be a good redemption arc for the character. Anyway, we are only a few days away from getting thefinal season ofSquid Gameon Netflix, so we will soon see what the creators have planned for Kim Jun-hee and Lee Myung-gi.

Squid GameSeason 3 is scheduled to release on Netflix on June 27.
