Lewis Pullman In Talks To Star In Spaceballs 2 Alongside Bill Pullman
According toThe Hollywood Reporter,Lewis Pullman is currently in negotiations to star alongside his father Bill Pullman inSpaceballs 2. The publication reported that Lewis Pullman’s character will be Lone Star and Queen Vespa’s (Daphne Zugina) son Starburst. Zuniga, whose other credits include soap opera-esque TV dramas such asMelrose PlaceandOne Tree Hill, is also appearing in the sequel.
Lewis Pullman recently made a big impression asRobert Reynolds/Sentry inThunderbolts*, and he will also play the same role inAvengers: Doomsday, which has beenmoved to a new release date of December 18th, 2026. Lewis also has several other big movies on his resume, includingTop Gun: Maverick,Salem’s Lot, and the 2018 slasher movieTheStrangers: Prey At Night. In a 30th anniversary interview withThe Hollywood Reporter, Bill shared some funny stories from the set ofSpaceballs, and also shared how inspiring it was to work with Brooks. He said:
“Mel had this thing where he said 10 percent of anything is good. It was this way of saying that in art and being creative there are things you have to brush off, suggestions, ideas, whatever to get to that 10 percent that is really good. It’s that idea of looking for the exceptional, and knowing it is rare, and you have to always be aware of how hard you have to look for that 10 percent.”
