Jordan) as they return to the Mississippi Delta from Chicago in 1932, only 67 years removed from the official end of slavery in the United States. In a bid to start up their own juke joint to give back to the local black community, the twins buy a disused sawmill and bring in their musician cousin Sammie for a blues night to remember, but things don’t go to plan when a trio of strangers arrive at the door to cause bloodthirsty chaos.

In an interview with Screen Rant,Sinnersstar Li Jun Li, who plays Grace Chow, revealed that she was “very surprised” at the movie’s worldwide victory at the box office.While talking to the site about her upcoming movieAlma and the Wolf, which will release on June 20, Li gave an emotional response to howSinnershas resonated with audiences across the globe, as well as itsincredible box-office haul of $361 million.“We knew it was good, but we didn’t think it was going to be this massive. So we’re really just taking it in, and we’re so grateful,” said Li, before discussing that the cast were great to work with and how glad she was thatSinnersbrought people back into the theaters due to how important that is right now.

Although Danny Boyle’s28 Years Laterhas yet to be released, it hassold more pre-sale tickets during its 24 hours of advanced ticket sales than other big horror filmslikeFinal Destination Bloodlines,Nosferatu, and also Sinners, making the zombie film the best horror ticket pre-seller in 2025, which could see its domestic opening weekend ranging around $30 million.
