After Breandan tasks you to Kill Galahad as part of the Shadows of the Horns quest, you’ll have to head to theAbandoned Stronghold northwest of Archspire. When stopped by the Guard, choose the dialogue “You see this pin? I don’t have to tell you anything. Take me to Galahad.” to pass through without them turning hostile.

Make your way inside the stronghold to find Galahad sitting on a chair inside the chamber. He will ask you where you found the pin, to which you should reply, “You found it.” At this point, you’ll have a couple of dialogue choices, but the two that matter the most are:

Choosing option one and then choosing “But I don’t want to kill you” will lead to Galahad making an offer to fight the Dal Riata together. Once he stops talking, you’ll have two more dialogue options:

Choosing different dialogues during the conversation, such as “I am here to kill you” or agreeing to have robbed Caradoc’s tomb, will directly lead to Galahad attacking you. You won’t get the chance to kill One-Eye in that case.

Choosing Option #1 - Siding with Galahad

Choosing the first option means you’ve decided to side with Galahad. Head back toAll-Mother’s Templeto find it already under attack by Galahad and his soldiers. Make your way to the main temple and kill any Dal Riata Berserkers you find along the way.

Once inside, you’ll find that Galahad has already killed everyone inside. Ask him about the ritual of the Keepers, and he’ll tell you about a test that involves hitting a gong in theSunken Village.

This is part of the quest to find Excalibur later on.

The conversation will end with Galahad handing you a directive that appointsFaerghas as the interim captain of the Horns of the South. Make your way back to the Horns of the South castle and talk to Faerghas. After the dialogue, a cutscene will play out, and you’ll have the next part of the quest,A World to Win, unlocked.

you’re able to also choose to call Breandan a traitor and kill him at All-Mother’s Shrine before even meeting Galahad. If you follow that route, you’ll have to head to the Abandoned Stronghold afterward and talk to Galahad about the ritual to progress through the story.

Choosing Option #2 - Killing Galahad

Option 2 will initiate a fight against Galahad. After defeating the knight, you’ll also have the whole stronghold turn hostile. You’ll be attacked by a few Galahad’s Squires and Desperate Archers. Kill them and make your way outside. Once outside, you’ll face a large group of enemies. You can choose to stand and fight or run.

Killing Galahad will drop the uniqueGalahad’s Maceweapon as well as theRoyal Butcher’s Armorset, and you will earn 1800 XP.

Now, make your way back to the All-Mother Temple to deliver the news to Breandan and One-Eye. Enter the temple to initiate a conversation with Breandan and One-Eye. You’ll bepresented with two main choices:

Go with option 1. The other option will cause the quest to fail. Breandan will hand you a key toSewal’s Crypt in Sunken Village.

Head to Sunken Village, as marked on the map, defeat the enemies in the area, and use the key to open thelocked door in the northto go inside the crypt. Go up the stairs to the next room. You’ll find a pedestal that you can interact with behind the large statue. After a short cutscene, a door will open.

Keep moving forward, and you’ll eventually findSewal trapped in a yellow cocoon. Talk to him to learn the darktruth about King Arthur’s greed and Merlin’s obsession. After the conversation ends, head back out to find Breandan in the main chamber. You’ll have two main choices here. you’re able to eitherchoose to convince Faergas to visit the cryptor choose to call the entire thing a conspiracy.

At this point, you shouldchoose to convince Faerghas, as the latter will lead to you failing the quest.

From this point on, the task is straightforward. Talk to Faerghas, and he will agree to see the crypt. After the conversation, head back to Breandan in All-Mother’s Temple. A different cutscene will play out where Breandan and One-Eye will give a speech about rebuilding Kamelot and reuniting the tribes. After the cutscene, you can talk to Breandan andask about Excaliburto complete the quest.

Choosing to kill One-Eye by siding with Galahad means youdestroy any chance of the tribes being reunitedlater on. You also won’t learn what happened in Sewal’s Crypt. However, this also means you’re on the side of Kamelot and will likely gain Galahad as an ally later on.

Siding with One-Eye and Breandan also has its perks. You’ll learn about the darker secrets of Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. On the other hand, Breandan has a habit of manipulating you to do his dirty work. In the end, he’s the one who betrayed the keepers and sent you to kill Galahad.
