Given the episode title, it’s clear thatthis storyline also revolves around Jerry Smith (Chris Parnell), Summer and Morty’s dad. WhileJerry could be a positive influence on Rick, the two have an interesting relationship that isn’t always the greatest.
While holidays are of course often depicted on family sitcoms, both animated and live-action,Rick and Mortyapproaches these festive occasions uniquely. Although other shows likeBob’s Burgersmight see the main characters having a pleasant dinner that of course includes some funny and dramatic moments, the sci-fi comedy takes things up a notch. It’s unsurprising that, rather than feature an Easter lunch where chaos occurs, at least some ofRick and Mortyseason 8, episode 4 will take place in space.Theepisode description sounds perfectly strange and fascinating.
Rick and Mortyhas always done an excellent job balancing the arcs of every main character and allowing viewers to get to know this quirky family.The next episode of season 8will spotlight Jerry, and since he’s so different from his kids and his father-in-law, it’s always compelling to observe him.
Rick And Morty Hasn’t Made An Easter Episode Before, But The Show Released A Great Christmas Episode
TheRick and Mortyseason 6 finale, “Ricktional Mortpoon’s Rickmas Mortcation,” blended a funny tone with serious moments. Although Morty and his relatives think that Rick has gotten them some amazing Christmas presents, they realize Rick is a robot, which isa fun twist that sets this apart from other festive sitcom episodes. However, Rick made a robot version of himself for a heartwarming and compelling reason.
