Following the conclusion of thePorygon Mass Outbreak event,Pokemon Scarlet and Violet revealed more surprises for trainers to participate in.Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s Porygon2 Mass Outbreak and Seven-Star Tera Raid events are ongoing until Sunday, June 15, at 7:59 PM Eastern. Waves of Porygon2 will appear in Paldea, Kitakami, and the Terarium with increased Shiny odds. As for the Seven-Star Tera Raid,Serebii.net confirmedthat Porygon the Unrivaled will have the Normal-type as its Tera type, and grant the Mightiest Mark to trainers who defeat it.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Porygon2 Event Details (June 2025)
Porygon2 will have Analytic as its ability, along with the moves Tri Attack, Thunderbolt, Ice Beam, Discharge, Psychic, and Trick Room. Despite being a known Eviolite user, Porygon2 the Unrivaled carries no items. Ergo, strong Fighting-type Pokemon like Zamazenta and Iron Hands, or creatures like Blissey with high special defense, are recommended for taking on Porygon2 the Unrivaled.
The Porygon2 events also mark the start of a new era for thePokemonfranchise, as they coincide with the launch of the Nintendo Switch 2 console. On June 3,Pokemon Scarlet and Violetreceived a free updateahead of the Switch 2’s launch that allowed both games to take advantage of the new console’s updated hardware. With the free update,Pokemon Scarlet and Violetcan now reach frame rates of up to 60 FPS in most areas.
