Fortunately for players, the adorable scaly Pokemon will soon have its first Community Day event.

Pokemon GOhas announced that its upcoming Community Day will feature Jangmo-o as the protagonist. The event is scheduled for June 21 at 2:00 PM local time and will run for three hours, concluding at 5:00 PM. During this period, Jangmo-o will appear more frequently in the wild, and fans will have a chance to encounter shiny forms of the Dragon-type. Players can also evolve their Jangmo-o to obtain a Kommo-o that knows the Dragon-type charged attack Clanging Scales, as long as they evolve it in the week after the event. Additionally, the Community Day will offer some limited bonuses, including triple the XP and double the Candy for catching Pokemon and one extra Special Trade for the day. The April and May Community Day editionsdissatisfied manyPokemon GOplayersfor not featuring popular Pokemon, but fans have reacted more positively to Jangmo-o’s upcoming June event.

During the event, Lure Modules and standard Incense will last for three hours, and trades will cost 50% less Stardust. It is worth noting that Jangmo-o’s Community Day will be part ofPokemon GO’s upcoming Delightful Days season, which offers another extra Special Trade daily. This means that players can make up to three Special Trades on Jangmo-o’s day. Finally, a themed Timed Research will be added until June 28, which rewards a Jangmo-o with a Delightful Days background. Fans can also purchase a $2 Special Research ticket for additional Jangmo-o encounters, a Premium Battle Pass, and a Rare Candy XL.
