There is a Field Research and 2 different Special Research with multiple branches. You can get Shiny Legendary Pokemon like Shiny Crowned Sword Zacian and Shiny Crowned Shield Zamazenta. The event features different areas as Habitats, each with unique Pokemon spawning around a specific area. you’re able to also complete additional Field Research tasks while adventuring these unique Habitats. Therewards include Stardust, Rare Candy XL, and more. You also get guaranteed encounters with featured Pokemon like Drampa, Turtonato, and more.

Those with thePokemon GOFest 2025 Tickets can access the Full Steam Ahead to Osaka Special Research. It comprises 9 steps, each with different tasks and rewards. The tasks include spinning PokeStops/Gyms in the Expo ‘70 Commemorative Park,taking in-game Snapshots, and more.

The GO Fest 2025Pokemon GOOsaka Hero’s Journey Special Research rewards you with a guaranteedCrowned Sword Zacian or Crowned Shield Zamazenta. You can only partake if you have the event ticket. The Special Research branches off in step two, asking you to choose either the Crowned Sword Journey or the Crowned Shield Journey. You can also get rewards like Crowned Sword Energy or Crowned Shield Energy according to the branch you pursue.
