Summary

APokemonand Togepi mega-fan has turned their car into a Togepi mobile, converting their Mazda 3 into a “Tog3pi.” The impressive tribute to the Gen 2 pocket monster has drawn attention from thePokemoncommunity and fellow fans of the shell-wearing Pokemon.

Pokemoncars are actually nothing new, with a few officialPokemoncars even in existence. There’s also the real-life Miraidon andKoraidon bikes, which have drawn a ton of attention from fans for their unusual designs and faithfulness to the original Pokemon they’re based upon. However, nothing stops fans from customizing their own cars to make their ownPokemonvehicles, and that’s what this player did.

Over on Reddit,Pokemonfan KamikahXO shared their newly redecorated Mazda 3, which they’ve dubbed the “Tog3pi.” A few photos demonstrate the level they went to in order to fully convert the car into somethingcelebrating Togepi. The white car has been covered in large decals of the blue and red triangle shapes that decorate Togepi’s shell. When combined with a sticker of its face near the top of the hood, it makes the rest of the car look like it’s Togepi’s shell. The OP didn’t stop there, though, adding a Togepi rear-view mirror hanger, car coasters based upon its typing, a Togepi license plate holder, a Poke Ball embedded in the back window, and perhaps most importantly, custom badging under the Mazda 3 logo, dubbing it the “Togepi Edition.”

Pokemon Fans Praise Togepi Car

Those in the comments have been quick to applaud the vehicle’s new look. One professed that they were surprised to discover an even bigger fan of Togepi than themselves looking at KamikahXO’s car, while a few others mentioned that they own this car and loved the overhaul. Another fan joked about how they never saw the Fairy Team Star Leader Ortega using this particular Revavroom, referring to how thePokemon Scarlet and VioletTeam Star leadersbattle from atop a Starmobile, a customized Revavroom.

While some fans prefer to maintain a low-key look while celebrating their favorite pocket monsters, others go all-out with car creations like this one. Another example is aBulbasaur Porschethat made the waves several years ago, which not only featured a decal of Bulbasaur, but recolored the entire vehicle in its shade of blue-green and added its name to the driver side of the car. With custom decals and some older fans having expendable cash to spend on their favorites, chances are this is far from the lastPokemon-themed custom car that fans will see in the years to come.
