6Venti
Ehe Archon
Venti was one of thebest characters inGenshin Impacton its release. Unfortunately, that didn’t last long. The game kept introducing new monsters that wouldn’t react to Venti’s Elemental Burst, which is the star of his kit. That created a problem where Venti is only effective when enemies are small, yet small enemies fall quickly to any attack from any character.
Unlike Zhongli, Venti didn’t have a huge fan base rallying behind him, demanding the devs to buff the Anemo Archon, which is what kept him benched all this time, waiting for a day when he gets to shine again with his Wind’s Grand Ode attack.
5Raiden Shogun
Eternal Burst
Raiden was and still is one of thebest batteries inGenshin Impact. Not only that, she also hits really hard, especially on her C2. If players, for whatever reason, want to add an Electro unit to their team, Raiden Shogun is always a safe choice.
Although she has a very Supportive utility alongside her strong DPS, Raiden is slightly ranked lower than Zhongli in this Archon list. They’re both exceptional characters, but the Electro Archon is not as universally useful as Morax.
4Zhongli

Zhongli wasn’t the best character on hisGenshin Impactrelease. Fortunately, fans demanded a change, and the devs acknowledged these demands and buffed Zhongli’s gameplay a few months later, which made him a solid unit, even after years.
The Geo Archon has one of thebest shields inGenshin Impactthat still makes people forget how to dodge. Most importantly, he can reduce enemies’ resistance to all elements, even Physical. A character like Zhongli, who has all these sustain and offensive abilities, fits into almost every single team inGenshin Impact, which is what gave him the edge over Raiden Shogun on this list.
3Nahida
Dangerous Sproutling
Nahida is always going to be a recommended character to have inGenshin Impact. Simply put, players can’t really enjoy the Dendro reactions without having Nahida in their teams. She’s too overpowered and offers so much utility to any character whoneeds a Dendro reaction for their gameplay.
Of course, continuing Raiden’s legacy, the devs also made Nahida pack a punch in all of her Elemental Skill attacks while still offering an unmatched Dendro application and buffs. Nahida is truly one of the best Archons in the game, only surpassed by two Archons that are even more broken.
2Mavuika
God of War
When it comes to Mavuika, there’s a lot of controversy surrounding her Flamestrider. A lot of fans argue that the bike breaks the game’s immersion and eliminates the fantasy feel ofGenshin Impact. However, gameplay-wise,Mavuika and her Flamestrider are an amazing duowho can unleash an insane amount of DMG upon enemies.
While everything in Mavuika’s kit indicates she would be a terrific main DPS, she still has a lot of reliable off-field Pyro applications. This helps her shine as a Sub-DPS in some teams, or enhance her team’s rotations if she were operating as a main DPS.
1Furina
Theatrics Master
Furina is easily one of the best Archons inGenshin Impact. Ever since she made it onto the game’s roster, Furina has never left the S-tier ranking. Not only that, she’s always one of the most used characters in the Abyss, which says a lot about her abilities.
The Hydro Archon has thebest buff inGenshin Impact, on top of healing her team and dealing so much DMG. No matter how strong Mavuika is, she never had a chance to take the crown from Furina because of how good and universal she is.
