One Punch Manis one of the best ongoing action manga. It’s safe to say that ONE has created an exquisite piece of literature, and it will be remembered by the audience even years after the manga is over.
Recently, the author of One Punch Man confirmed that the manga would go on hiatus for a few months, and itwill return on Jun 14, 2025. While some fans are understandably frustrated, there is a silver lining.
One Punch Man’s Hiatus Will Help The Author
With the manga going on a break, the author will have plenty of time to think and plan the next part of the story. Often, when the story reaches the latter stages, it becomes increasingly difficult to keep everything coherent and avoid any mistakes. So, ONE’s break will help him to go over the story and give him an idea of how he wants to proceed. Additionally, the hiatus might help him understand the drawbacks of redrawing an arc multiple times.
Recently, ONE has gone on a redrawing spree. He remade several chapters unnecessarily when there was zero need to do so. Many fans have attributed it to the author’s obsession with perfect. ONE is a known perfectionist, and he wants to get things right. However, there is little to no reason for him to redraw entire arcs, especially since they affect the story so much.
Fans can’t help but think that ONE could invest this time elsewhere or just take a break. The process of redrawing entire arcs is unquestionably cumbersome, and after a while, it will take a toll on the mental and physical health of the author. Hopefully, ONE drops the idea completely after the series returns from the break.
The current hiatus is highly beneficial to ONE because he can rest. Readers know creating a manuscript is taxing, and it can even cause health issues if the author is not careful. As One Punch Man enters hiatus, ONE will be able to kick back and relax, which will hopefully help him recover.
One Punch Man Season 3 Is Releasing In October 2025
The third season of One Punch Manis being produced by J.C. Staff, who also worked on the second season, which was a huge disaster. Fans were aghast at the poor quality of animation in season 2, and they couldn’t believe how big of a downgrade it was from the first season. Since One Punch Man is an action anime, the lack of quality animation hurts it. Following a lackluster season 2, the pressure is on J.C. Staff to right its wrongs.
So far, the studio has just released one trailer, and it hasn’t impressed fans in the least. In fact, it has made them moreworried that One Punch Man Season 3 willbe another disaster. Since the new season is set to premiere in October 2025, the studio should release a new trailer to ease fans' worries.
The studio should be more transparent with the audience, as they have been waiting for years to see their favorite bald hero in action. If it cannot meet the required standard, the studio should delay the anime and take a few more months.
One Punch Man’s Third Season Could Be The Best One Yet
One Punch Man’s upcoming season hasa lot of potential, mainly because it will cover the war between heroes and the monsters. The monsters led by Orochi want to take over the world and change the order. While they are sentient, almost all of them are ruthless. They will not hesitate to kill anyone who dares to stand in their way.
On the other hand, the heroes have to make sure that the monsters don’t reach the surface and start killing humans. There are many S-rank heroes who will be looking to test their strength against the monsters, and the fights between them will be nothing short of epic. The star of the arc will be Saitama, who will be hoping to find an opponent strong enough to withstand his attacks.
