One Punch Manis an outstanding manga series, and its fame has skyrocketed in the last decade. It is adored by readers because of the riveting story and the exciting cast of characters.
Recently, ONE announced that One Punch Man would begoing on an extended hiatus, meaning there won’t be any new content during this period. The author has revealed that themanga will be on break until July 17th, 2025. The news of the hiatus has not been received well by the audience, and it has put extra pressure on the third season of the anime.
One Punch Man Season 1 Was Outstanding
One Punch Man Season 1 changed the anime industry forever. The quality of the production was so high that others felt pale in comparison. Following its success, fans knew it was only a matter of time before a second season would be announced. However, there was one major change. The second seasonwas produced by J.C. Staff, a highly respected studio.
Fans strongly believed that the studio would be able to match the standards set by Madhouse with the first season. Unfortunately, there was a massive drop in the quality of animation. Naturally, fans were outraged that the studio produced an average adaptation. They couldn’t believe the studio had botched the adaptation, causing the anime to lose all the momentum it had built with the initial season. One Punch Man Season 2 was heavily criticized, which was one of the main reasons why the third season had to be pushed back.
One Punch Man Season 3 Will Make Or Break The Series
The recent announcement that the One Punch Man manga is taking a hiatus has put more pressure on the studio. Fans have already been disappointed with ONE’s decision to redraw old arcs for no good reason. The author’s choice has put him under a lot of fire from readers, as they strongly believe he could invest his time elsewhere. The author could have taken a break rather than redrawing arcs that don’t add any significant value.
J.C. Staff has yet to share a proper trailer for the third season, which has fans worried, especially after the disastrous second season. The studio has continued to share new character visuals, which look good, but a new trailer would be much more effective in soothing the nerves of the fans.
J.C. Staff has already revealedthat One Punch Man Season 3 willrelease in October 2025, and the studio has to deliver a new trailer before its premiere. If Season 3 flops, then the series will be out on the shelf for at least another 5–6 years. Additionally, J.C. Staff’s reputation will also be affected if the third season doesn’t live up to expectations.
One Punch Man Season 3 Will Be Released In October 2025
Fans Are Hoping The Third Season Is Better Than The Last One
As previously stated,One Punch Man season 3 will airin October 2025, and it will cover the remainder of the Monster Association arc, meaning there will be plenty of fights. Saitama will face his biggest challenge as he goes up against Cosmic Garou, who receives power from “God.” The fight was excellent in the manga, but the anime has the chance to surpass it. As the protagonist, Saitama is going to be in the spotlight, but other characters, including Tatsumaki, will also get their moment in the third season.
No matter how many monsters I defeat, inside, I’m bored out of my mind. —Saitama
The battle between the heroes and the monsters will be important to the overall story. If the heroes fail to win, the world will be overrun by all kinds of monsters, and it will lead to the extermination of humankind. So, there is extra pressure on the heroes to get the job. Thankfully for the heroes, they haveSaitama on their side, who is almost invincible. So, he can easily deal with anything that the monsters throw at him. Overall, the arc is promising, and hopefully, the studio will do it justice.
