One Pieceis currently in the Final Saga and fans know that very well. The Elbaf arc is a major step forward inOne Piece’sFinal Saga, largely due to the main villain being the greatest villain of the whole story, Imu.
While it goes without saying thatImu is a strong user of Hakiand that they also have a Devil Fruit ability, their true power is greater than just that. In fact, Imu’s abilities are magical in nature, and they connect directly to the National Treasure of Marijoa, which Oda teased long ago in the Dressrosa arc ofOne Piece.
The National Treasure Of Marijoa Is The Ultimate Power in One Piece
The National Treasure Of Marijoais, as the name suggests, a treasure that lies in the Holy Land of the Celestial Dragons. It has been there for a very long time, and at some point, Doflamingo discovered its presence. Of course, the National Treasure of Marijoa could also just be Imu themself, or it could just be their power which they displayed inOne Piecechapter 1150.
If only I had the Ope Ope no Mi for myself on that fateful day. I would’ve gotten my hands on the National Treasure of Marijoa! — Doflamingo
According to Doflamingo, withthe power of the Ope Ope no Mi, he could’ve taken over the whole world and become its King, which fans know Imu to be. In other words, Imu used the National Treasure of Marijoa to become the King of the World. Oda hasn’t explicitly stated what the National Treasure is, but it is most definitely either Imu themself or the ability they use, and in either case, it is the same power.
Imu Can Use Magic
InOne Piecechapter 1150, Imu showcased the power of their magicto the fans through Gunko’s body. As was clearly seen, Imu had a Spellbook with them and through this spellbook, they could use various abilities. More than that spellbook, Imu’s entire arsenal of weapons seems to be magic-related, specifically dark magic. Somehow, Imu can use this power very well. The source of this power is debatable, butOne Piecechapter 1150 implies that it is the Spellbook itself, which means that this book could be the source of the National Treasure of Marijoa.
Mu will show thee the dominance of a God! — Imu
It was seen giving Imu many powers, such as demonic abilities, and the power to summon all kinds of weapons, and more than that, the ability to turn someone immortal and grant them incredible physical strength through the Power of Evil.
National Treasure Of Marijoa Requires Immortality To Use
The National Treasure of Marijoa is incredibly strong, and this was already confirmed by Doflamingo, but he clearly stated that he needed immortality to use it. This is where things get interesting. When Imu used Domi Reversion Dorry and Brogy, it was clear that they took their lifespan. As such, the cost for using the power of magic is lifespan. This means to utilize the Spellbook itself, Imu probably has to offer their own lifespan as well, and that is very important. How does Imu bypass it? By being immortal. Having had the Ope Ope no Mi Perennial Youth Surgery done on them has allowed Imu to offer infinite lifespan to the National Treasure or Marijoa, and use the Power of Evil without limits, making them the strongest in the world.
