Summary
The Final Saga of One Piece is in full swing. Oda started the Final Saga with the Egghead arc, which featured some of the most prominent names inOne Piece. Following its conclusion, the Straw Hats went to Elbaf, the home of the Giants.
There are many characters in the Elbaf arc, and each of them has unique traits, but not all of them have the same level of importance. The roles that the characters play in the arc determine their screen time. Oda will use most individuals sparingly, while only a select few will be continuously in the spotlight.
6Hajrudin
The Other Son Of King Harald
Hajrudin debuted in the Dressrosa arc, where he fought in the competition for the Mera Mera no Mi held inside the Corrida Coliseum. Towards the end of the arc, Hajrudin pledged fealty to the Straw Hat Piratesand joined the Grand Fleet.
Back then, there was limited information available about Hajrudin. It wasn’t until the Elbaf arc that it was revealed that King Harald was his father. Harald loved Hajrudin and hoped that his sons would work together for the sake of Elbaf. However, they never got along well and consistently abused each other. Given the fact that Elbaf is without a king, it is highly likely that Hajrudin will play an important role in choosing the next ruler.
5Monkey D. Luffy
He Might Convince Loki To Stop His Rampage
Monkey D. Luffy is the captain of the Straw Hat Pirates and the main lead of the story. With each passing arc, Luffy gets closer to his dream of becoming the King of Piratesand obtaining the One Piece. In every arc, Luffy is at the center of attention. He is the one who handles the biggest threats and deals with them.
Luffy has yet to fight a major character in the Elbaf arc, but that will certainly change as there is still a lot of time before it ends. So, it is unwise to overlook him when it comes to the most important characters in the Elbaf arc.
4Jaguar D. Saul
He Likely Knows About The Void Century
Years ago, Jaguar D. Saul used to be a Marine Vice Admiral, but he left the organization after learning about their devious plans. Following his departure, Saul washed up on the shores of Ohara, where he met a young Nico Robin. Saul taught her about life and even offered uplifting advice. Eventually, the two became good friends. However, it wasn’t long before tragedy struck, and Ohara was obliterated in a Buster Call. Saul sacrificed himself to Robin. At least that is what fans were led to believe. In the Egghead arc, Oda revealed that Saul had survived the Buster Call and went to Elbaf.
In the Elbaf arc, readers finally saw Saul. After being thawed out of Kuzan’s ice, he rescued the books belonging to the scholars and took them to Elbaf. Considering he has spent so much time in the country, there’s no doubt that Saul knows a lot of its history, including some big secrets. He will indubitably reveal this information to Robin and the rest of the Straw Hats when the time is right.
3Loki
He Was Next In Line To Become King
Loki is the son of the late King Harald. Even as a kid, he was a prankster who would cause problems for others, but the people of Elbaf looked the other way. At some point, Loki murdered his own father and stole the legendary Devil Fruit. As a result, he was called the Accursed Prince and ultimately pushed out of the Sun World.
Loki’s rampage came to a halt when Shanks chained him up in the Underworld. Oda has disclosed only a sliver of details about Loki’s past, but that will change soon. Despite the lack of information, it’s quite obvious that Loki will play asignificant role in the Elbaf arc.
2Nico Robin
Nico Robin is the Straw Hats' archaeologist. She is one of the few people whocan decipher the Poneglyphs, and this ability puts her on the list of the World Government’s worst enemies. Going to Elbaf was emotional for her, as she knew Saul was there. Unsurprisingly, the reunion between the two characters was emotional, especially given what both of them went through.
Nico Robin is going to be extremely important in Elbaf. As previously stated, she can read the Poneglyphs, and Elbaf likely has one. So, it’s inevitable that she will read the Poneglyph in Elbaf and likely learn something new about the One Piece and the Void Century.
1Scopper Gaban
Knows About The Void Century And Laugh Tale
Scopper Gaban used to be the left-hand man of Gol D. Roger. Hetraveled with the Roger Piratesfor years before they eventually disbanded. Gaban’s strength is said to be comparable to that of Roger and Rayleigh.
Gaban met Luffy early in the arc, and he told the young pirate to meet him before leaving the island. There is a good chance that Gaban wants to tell Luffy something important that will help the latter to get closer to his dream of becoming the Pirate King. Gaban is also going to play an important role in the fight against the Holy Knights. Without his support, Elbaf might be destroyed.
