One PieceEpisode 1129 marked the beginning of Bartholomew Kuma’s flashback. Fans had been waiting for ages to see how Toei Animation would handle the flashback, and it won’t be an exaggeration to say that it has made an excellent start.
While Bartholomew Kuma was the focus of the second half of the episode, it was Saint. Jaygarcia Saturn who dominated the first half.In Episode 1129, One Piecefans witnessed the power of the Gorosei, and, needless to say, it left everyone surprised.
Before Saint. Jaygarcia Saturn decided to personally go to Egghead, he waited for Kizaru to get the job done. When the Admiral failed to accomplish the task, the Godhead decided to intervene himself. Instead of going to the island normally, Jaygarcia Saturn summoned himself via a mysterious circle.
Upon making landfall,Jaygarcia Saturn morphed into a mysterious creaturewith eight limbs and a pair of horns. Following his arrival, Vice Admiral Doberman ordered the lower-ranked Marines to leave the vicinity. Unfortunately, one of the soldiers said Saturn looked like a monster, which did not sit well with the Godhead of Science and Defense, so he used some kind of projectile to kill him.
Silence, insects. —Saint. Jaygarcia Saturn
As soon as Bonney laid her eyes on Saturn, she remembered the horrors that he had inflicted on Bartholomew Kuma. Naturally, she couldn’t control her emotions. So she rushed towards the Saturn and stabbed him with a sword. However, it didn’t cause him any trouble, as he simply regenerated.
The Gorosei’s Strength Is Incredible
Considering how Jaygarcia Saturn was able to recover from the damage, it is safe to say that he and the rest of the Gorosei are likely immortal, meaning they cannot be killed, at least not with regular attacks. So, untilthe Straw Hats and Vegapunk find a way, they stand no chance of beating them.
A major piece of evidence that confirms the immortality of the Gorosei is Kuma’s flashback. Jaygarcia Saturn appears in Kuma’s flashback, and he looks exactly like he does in the present timeline. Since the God Valley Incident took place 38 years ago, it is impossible that Saturn hasn’t aged a bit. This incident makes it abundantly clear that Jaygarcia Saturn has immortality, and he cannot grow older.
As the Gorosei are all immortals, it is plausible to assume that they have lived for several centuries. In fact, it is possible that they were alive during the Void Century, and they participated in the destruction of the Ancient Kingdom. At the moment, this is just speculation, but it could end up being confirmed in future episodes.
The Full Power Of The Gorosei
In One Piece Episode 1129, fans saw Jaygarcia Saturn emitting something that prevented everyone from. Even a powerful individual like Sanji found it impossible to move. Using this move, the Gorosei can get rid of their enemies effortlessly.
The Gorosei also seem to have access to unique transformations. Saturn morphed into a Gyuki assoon as he arrived on Egghead Island, and it seems that he has excellent control over this ability. He can use his appendages as weapons to stab his enemies. Currently, it is unknown whether he has a Devil Fruit ability or something else.
As previously stated, the anime is currently covering Kuma’s flashback, so it’s highly unlikely that it will focus on Saturn too much. Therefore, viewers will have to wait for it to end to see Saturn’s other powers. Depending on his display in the arc, fans will be able to understand whether Saturn might be as strong as the Yonko.
If that turns out to be true, it would mean the World Government has five individuals whosestrength rivals that of the Yonko. If the Gorosei were to gang up on any pirate crew in the world, they would have absolutely zero problem obliterating them.
