Fans of the franchise can mark their calendars accordingly, even if they don’t plan on having a Nintendo Switch 2 at that time. After all,Dragon Quest 1 & 2 HD-2D Remakewill also be coming to PC, PS5, original Switch, and Xbox Series X.
When is the Dragon Quest 1 & 2 HD-2D Remake Release Date?
It hasn’t been confirmed yet if fans can expect a native Switch 2 release forDragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake, but such a release might be redundant. While the game would get some performance boosts from the new console, it will already be playable on the device. That’s because theNintendo Switch 2 is backward compatible with the OG Switch, so Switch 2 gamers don’t have to worry about missing out on replaying the Erdrick Trilogy in its entirety.
