The news came just days after the Switch 2’s long-awaited release. Google replied that both YouTube and Nintendo are working to make the popular video-sharing app available on the Switch 2 soon, though the tech giant did not give a precise date for when that would happen. However, it remains unclear why the original Switch version of the YouTube app is not supported on the Switch 2, despite the new console offering backward compatibility with the majority of Switch software.
