To date, there are six games confirmed to be releasing for theNintendo Switch 2in July 2025, though it’s possible more will be announced in the near future. The Switch 2 has accomplished this feat despite the fact that the vast majority of its games are readily available to play on other platforms.

Switch 2 early adopters may be ready for some new experiences, and luckily, there are already six games on deck for July 2025.
The first new Switch 2 game coming in July 2025 isTony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4, dropping July 11. It will be followed byDonkey Kong Bananzaon July 17andShadow Labyrinthon July 18. Then, Switch 2 gamers can look forward toSuper Mario Party Jamboree Switch 2 Edition + Jamboree TVon July 24. Visual novel fans can mark their calendars forNo Sleep for Kaname Date - From AI: The Somnium Fileson July 25. And finally,Wild Hearts S, the Switch 2 port of theMonster Hunter-style action-RPG, will also be releasing July 25.

Out of all the new Switch 2 games coming in July 2025, there are two that stand out as particularly exciting for early adopters.Donkey Kong Bananzais the obvious headliner, giving fans their first 3D platformerDonkey Konggame in decades.Super Mario Party Jamboree Switch 2 Edition + Jamboree TVshould also be of interest to Switch 2 fans, especially if they already own the original game.Super Mario Party Jamboree’s Switch 2 upgradeincludes system-exclusive content, including special mini-games that make use of the camera, and it will be available for $19.99 for existing owners.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4is one of the bigger multi-platform releases coming to the Switch 2 in July, and if it’s anything like its predecessor, it will be a solid remake of some classicPro Skatercourses. As far as multi-platform games go, Switch 2 owners may also want to keep an eye onShadow Labyrinth.Shadow Labyrinthis a gritty re-imaginingofPac-Manthat turns the franchise into an action-focused Metroidvania.
It’s entirely possible even more games will be announced for the Switch 2 in the near future. A Nintendo Direct is rumored to be happening soon - beyond theDonkey Kong BananzaDirect for June 18- but for now, July is already looking pretty solid when it comes to Nintendo’s new home console/handheld hybrid.
