Now, Nintendo has finally unveiled a short video with the new features in action, showcasing the changes the service will make whenthe Nintendo Switch 2 releases on June 5. Most of the new features will be exclusive to the Switch 2, including the ability to rewind games on the Nintendo 64, and a new CRT filter which looks very authentic. The rewind feature seems fairly easy to use, as it saves screenshots of previous moments in the game, allowing the player to select them to return in case they make a mistake. The most noteworthy of these features, however, is the ability to view and remap the controls of N64 games on both Switch consoles, which the fanbase has previously criticized Nintendo for not including before.
