What Was The Main Objective of the Raid?

As the name suggests, the Jaku Hospital Raid was a police operation on Jaku General Hospital, led by Detective Naomasa Tsukauchi and a team of Pro Heroes and Trainees under the command of Endeavor. The raid was part of a larger mission that included another raid on Gunga Mountain Villa.

I’ve only been living for the boy’s sake… for Shigaraki.

The main goal was to capture Tomura Shigaraki, who was hiding in a laborotaroy in the hospital, and Kyudai Garaki, an important member of the League of Villains who posed as a regular doctor and the chairman of Jaku General Hospital.

Who Was Part of the Jaku Hospital Raid Team?

Tsukauchi and Endeavor assembled a large team ofPro Heroes to storm into the Jaku General Hospital, so there were high expectations for this operation, as it even included the Number 2 Hero in Japan. The police would provide support, but the Heroes would lead the raid and be responsible for most of the mission.

A total of37 Heroes and Traineesjoined this raid (including Endeavor), making it one of the largest alliances that Pro Heroes have ever assembled. The team’s mission was to evacuate the hospital (the regular staff were shocked by the raid), defeat the Nomu, infiltrate the secret laboratory where the Nomu were produced, and capture Shigaraki and others siding with the Villains, including Dr. Garaki. To accomplish their goal, the team was divided into two smaller groups: the Raid Team and the Evacuation Team.

On the other hand, the Evacuation Team included:

Why Did the Jaku Hospital Raid Fail?

The Pro Heroes accomplished smaller objectives, such as defeating the Nomu, butfailed to capture Tomura Shigaraki. Dr. Garaki woke him up, and the laboratory crumbled due to Shigaraki’s use of his Decay ability. A few months earlier, Dr. Garaki had operated on Tomura, enhancing his strength and transferring the All for One Quirk to him.

Considering thatthey were no match for Shigaraki at that point, the team would likely not have been able to do much differently. With some backup, perhaps they could have performed better, but many Heroes were storming into the Gunga Mountain Villain. While they failed to achieve the main objective, they were at least able to destroy the lab.

In Which Season Does The Raid Happen?

This raid takes place duringthe Paranormal Liberation War Arc(My Hero Academia Season 6). Both this and the Gunga raids comprise about the first half of the season, which is one of the favorite arcs of many fans.

In My Hero Academia, some humans have superpowers called quirks. Izuku Midoriya, nicknamed Deku, is not one of them. Deku has always idolized heroes like the number one hero, All Might, and since he was a child, he has always wanted to be a hero. However, his lack of a quirk has always held him back, but a chance encounter with All Might after discovering a classmate in danger sets Deku on the path to becoming a true hero. My Hero Academia centers around Deku and a class of heroes-in-training at UA. This school shapes young quirk users into future heroes through fake rescue missions, combat training, and other hero-tempering tasks. With young Deku inheriting the “One-For-All” quirk, he will learn what it means to be a true hero while facing off with dastardly supervillains.
