Summary
In the world ofMy Hero Academia, where fights between heroes and villains are always breaking out, it’s inevitable that most of the characters within the series will eventually come up against someone who’s simply too strong for them to handle. As a result, many of the individuals seen throughout this immensely popular anime series, including Deku himself, have been handed at least one defeat at some point in their adventure, though this certainly doesn’t apply to everyone.
Whether it’s because of their overwhelming strength or simply their tendency to avoid battle altogether, there are severalMy Hero Academiacharacters who have never lost even a single fight. Needless to say, that’ll look pretty good on their Hero resume, but how exactly have these characters maintained such a strong win-to-loss record? It’s time to find out.
1Nezu
Nezu Uses His Superior Intellect To Outsmart His Opponents
The reason Nezu was able to become the president of UA high, despite being a mouse, is because he possessesthe High Specs Quirk. This drastically bolsters his IQ to the point where he is even smarter than the average human, and while he’s not much of a hand-to-hand fighter, it’s shown through the exams that he’s easily able to out maneuver his opponents on the battlefield thanks to his keen intellect.
When Nozu goes up against Mina and Kaminari, for example, the students severely underestimate his abilities, only to be humiliated by him, which ends in them failing the exam. At first glance, Nezu may not seem all that intimidating, but the fact he’s never been taken down on screen definitely shouldn’t be ignored.
2Mirio Togata
Even After Losing His Quirk, Mirio Continued To Fight
Mirio’s most well-known fight in the series is when he goes up against the dangerous mafia villain known as Overhaul. While he puts up an admirable fight,Mirio ends up losing his Quirkas a result of one of Overhaul’s bullets during the battle, though despite that, the plucky young hero continues to fight and protect the young Eri with everything he has. Therefore, he didn’t technically lose this fight as he was never officially taken down for good.
Considering Mirio is out of action for much of the series after this intense battle, fans don’t get to see him duke it out maybe as much as they would have liked. Thankfully, though, he does make a return in the final war to give some much-needed assistance to the other heroes in their chaotic final fight against All For One and Shigaraki.
3Tatami Nakagame
Tatami’s Quirk Makes It Almost Impossible To Even Hit Her, Let Alone Defeat Her In Battle
Thanks to her Telescopic Quirk,Tatami is able to fold her limbs into her body, kind of like a turtle retreating back into its shell. While the Quirk has pretty much no offensive capabilities to speak of, it’s one of the best in the series when it comes to defense and survivability, since Tatami can revert her arms and legs in the blink of an eye to avoid being sliced by an opponent.
She’s actually only involved in two fights throughout the entire series and manages to avoid being defeated in both of them thanks to her nifty ability and hero experience. She may be a pretty irrelevant side character, but this is still quite a remarkable feat for such a young hero.
4Minoru Mineta
Mineta Has Tried To Avoid Combat At All Costs, Which Is Why He’s Managed To Retain Such A Clean Win Record
Admittedly, Mineta isn’t a hero who avoided taking losses because of his strength. In stark contrast, he’s actually very weak and extremely clumsy, though he does seem to still have a lot of luck on his side, considering he always makes it out of his battles in one piece. Mineta’s size allows him to hide away and avoid a fight any time the villains show up to ruin the hero’s day, though he is certainly not afraid to throw out his small sticky balls anytime he can catch his opponent off guard.
Because he doesn’t get anywhere near as much screen time as the other members of class 1A, it means Minetta hasn’t been involved in quite as many fights as the likes ofBakugo or Todoroki, making it much easier for him to avoid picking up losses. Still, that’s not to suggest that he’s much of a fighter at all, considering how easily he gets scared at the sight of a single villain.
5Death Arms
Death Arms Played More Of A Supporting Role And Eventually Retired From Hero Work Altogether
Death Arms is a Pro Hero who takes more of asupporting rolerather than being a frontline fighter. Though he may be more than capable of taking down a villain or two with his impressive physique, he usually prefers reserving his strength for helping those in need. As a result, he’s not involved in too many fights throughout the series and even decides to retire after the Paranormal Liberation War upon witnessing the amount of chaos that the villains had caused by destroying Jaku City.
He does eventually return in the final war, though this is only to help out a few civilians who are stuck under rubble. All of this has allowed Death Arms to avoid picking up any losses over the course of the series, though it definitely would still have been nice to have seen more of this guy, considering how intriguing he is as a character.
