Star Wars: The Old Republic’s Dynamic Worlds Update Arrives May 28
To help players follow the expandingstory inStar Wars: The Old Republic, the new Eras Window breaks down the timeline and shows character progress. It includes summaries, visual overviews, and quick access to the main missions. The Mission Log also got a makeover with a cleaner layout, better sorting, and a direct link to the Galaxy Map. Gameplay-wise, class balance changes are hitting several roles, like Juggernaut, Guardian, Marauder, Sentinel, Sniper, Gunslinger, Assassin, and Shadow, with more tweaks planned for 7.7.1. Dynamic Encounters are being expanded to more planets now - Tython, Korriban, Hutta, Ord Mantell, Coruscant, Dromund Kaas, and Ilum - each with themed rewards tied to that planet.
For endgame players, the Relentless Replication Operation is getting a Master Mode, offering exclusive achievements, a special mount, and access to Legendary Augments. Players can also earn those through PvP and Veteran content. PvP Season 8, called Champions of the Wild, brings new armor sets, stronghold items, and a Cartel Coin catch-up system to help players close the gap. The update alsorefreshes parts ofStar Wars: The Old Republic’s UI, including a cleaner World Map, new character skin tones, and visual updates like better Chiss textures. And from July 8 to August 19, the Nar Shaddaa Nightlife event returns with new rewards like the flashy Supernova Helmet and a bunch of companion creatures.
