A player named siphagiel would later discover that Ultron can shoot faster if they use his melee blade in between shots. In a short side-by-side video on Reddit, they showed howUltron’s Encephalo-Ray(his main attack) shoots more consistently when they quickly hit a melee attack—a classic animation cancel.
Can Ultron’s Melee Attack Really Make His Shots Faster?

Hitting the melee attack doesn’t seem to make that much of a difference to Ultron’s shooting speed, but the player also claims he shoots 0.65 seconds faster per mag with the trick, which is still a slight improvement.
