From the description provided by the developers, this version of Groot seems to have reconnected the ten realms by becoming the new Yggdrasill. His bark is a light gray with sprouting blue foliage and several orbs of various colors are floating around his body. According to the content creatorMiller Rosson Twitter, this is a legendary skin that will cost players 2,200 Units when it appears in the store on May 30.

Groot isn’t the only hero getting a new skin, as theupcoming playable character Ultron inMarvel Rivalswill be receiving a costume called X-Tron. It’s an original design created for the popular hero shooter that shows the Strategist with a golden body and glowing red cape. According to Miller Ross, this skin is considered to be Epic rarity and will cost 1,600 Units when it arrives in the story on May 30. Ultron will be making his debut on the same day. As the game’s newest Strategist, he will have the ability to deal significant amounts of damage to his foes while healing and providing support to his allies.

In addition to fresh skins, the 2.5 update will include anew map called Arakko inMarvel Rivals. Arrako is the sister island of Krakoa, which was introduced at the beginning of Season 2: Hellfire Gala.
