Recently, leakerRivalsPsylocke shared on TwitterthatMarvel Rivalshas an unused feature called Credit, which is reportedly similar toOverwatch 2’s endorsement system. It’s said to have a ranking system based on the Credits that players receive every match. The leaker added that the feature has been in the game since launch, but has never been used yet. It’s quite possible that developer NetEase Games might be waiting for the right moment to roll out Credit inMarvel Rivalsin a future update.
How Credit Could Work in Marvel Rivals
InOverwatch 2, players can give endorsements to up to two players after each match who display good behavior. Giving an endorsement earns players battle pass points, while those who receive this incentive will get an increase in their endorsement levels. It’s like a badge of honor for one’s sportsmanship, especially in a highly competitive game likeOverwatch 2. What’s also interesting is thatOverwatch 2also allows enemy endorsements, which gives them the ability to show their appreciation to non-toxic opponents that played well.
That being said, it’s possible thatMarvel Rivals' rumored Credit feature will operate the same way, which could hopefully incentivize players to be on their best behavior so they can get high-ranking badges for their good character.
