Life-sizedPokémonplushes are super cool. They’re the closest thing to getting these cute little companions actually into your home. The Pokémon Center has been slowly rolling out different Eevee varieties, with the most recent beingVaporeon, Jolteon, and Flareon life-sized plushes.
Today, The Pokémon Center unveiled the next Eeveelutions to get the life-sized treatment. Coming in late November 2025 arelife-sized Espeonandlife-sized Umbreonplushes.
Life-Sized Espeon Pokémon Plush
The “Sun Pokémon”
Of all the Eeveelutions that have been made to their actual measurements, I think the life-sized Espeon might have to be my favorite.The attention to detail is stunning on this Pokémon plush.
Just as it’s listed in the Johto Pokédex (No. 184), the Espeon plush measures in at 28 inches high, 32.75 inches wide, and 25.5 inches long. Luckily, the life-sized plush only weighs about eight pounds as opposed to the 58 pounds it’s listed at in the Pokédex.
Just as in the games,the front of the plush’s head features Espeon’s red sun gem, which is vital to the Pokémon’s psychic abilities. It’s not just a different color of fabric, but instead protrudes from the plush’s head for a more realistic look. You’ll notice in the top view of the plush that it has the creature’s forked tail. And the fabric it’s made of is super-soft polyester fiber, which is similar to the real Espeon’s velvety fur.
The Pokémon Store limits purchases of each life-sized creature to two per person.
The Pokémon Store says that these life-size Espeon plushes will begin shipping out in late November,so they’ll be going out just in time for the holiday shopping season. Ensure you get one (or two) for your favorite Pokémon Trainers.
Life-Sized Umbreon Pokémon Plush
The “Moonlight Pokémon”
If you’re more of the brooding, dark-loving type, the life-sized Umbreon plush is probably more your style. That’s likely many of you, given that this Pokémonranked first among all the Eeveelutions. This plush somehow gives off a nonchalant, don’t care type of vibe while also exuding a sense of danger. I wouldn’t want to cross any Pokémon Trainer with this Eeveelution in tow.
Mimicking its listing in the official Johto Pokédex, the Umbreon life-size plush measures 29 inches high, 30 inches wide, and 31 inches long. It’s about 60 pounds in the games, but the plush comes in at a little under 10 pounds. Just like Pokémon No. 197,the Umbreon plush has yellow rings on its head and limbs. Pokémon lore says that these rings glow at night when exposed to moonlight - just don’t expect that to happen with your life-size plush.
Umbreon is depicted lying down.Combining that with the plush’s soft polyester fiber makes it an excellent cuddling partner. Just like Espeon, the Umbreon Pokémon plush has an estimated shipping date of late November 2025. So you can cross a few names off your Christmas list this year if you preorder one of these now.
What are the Next Life-Sized Pokémon Plushes?
Generation IV incoming?
In April, The Pokémon Company revealed its plans to roll outlife-sized versions of every Eeveelution. With Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Espeon, and Umbreon all checked off the list, one would assume the Generation IV Eevee evolutions would be next, as there were no new Eevees introduced in Generation III’sPokémon Ruby,Sapphire, andEmerald.
If The Pokémon Center continues rolling these life-sized plushes out by Generation,Leafeon and Glaceon would be the next duo up. However, that would leave just one Eeveelution left in Generation VI’s Sylveon. So they may opt to unveil the final trio together. We should all find out soon enough.
