While it’s true that Sumire has romantic feelings for Boruto, Sarada sharing the same feelings has always been teased in the manga. And with the surprising events that unfold inTwo Blue Vortexchapter 21, many fans are now even more convinced that Sarada truly harbors romantic feelings for Boruto.

Fans remain clueless about Boruto’s feelings to this day, mainly because of his complicated situation in the story. His life remains a mess, as he lives every single day as a rogue ninja, whilehis parents are sealedin what seems to be a pocket dimension, and his survival hangs by a thread, leaving little room for matters of the heart to take center stage.
In other words, the current Boruto might not be able to afford romance with Sarada or anyone else. A lot of important things are riding on his shoulders, which could make it difficult for him to be in a romantic situation with anyone for now. Of course, this doesn’t mean that the door will remain closed forever inBoruto. There might be a situation in the future when he would need to reflect on his relationship with Sarada, potentially opening the path for something deeper than friendship.
