InZOIcurrently offers players two worlds to live in, with a third currently planned to be made available later in 2025. Much like other life sims,InZOIallows players to craft their own stories, build homes, and immerse themselves in dynamic communities. However, InZOI sets itself apart from other life sims by offering cultural diversity based on real life, and this is reflected in the different cities it offers, and the ones that are planned for future updates.

At launch, players will have access to two distinct worlds: Dowon, inspired by Seoul, South Korea, and Bliss Bay, modeled after Santa Monica’s beach environments. Each location offers a unique visual identity, atmospheric experience, and a set of lifestyle options to suit different player preferences, as well as authenticity, to the point that players familiar with these locales recognize thelandmarks of these cities inInZOI. While there are only two cities available for now, a third, Kucingku, is planned to be added in a future update in 2025.

InZOI Cities Based in Asia

Dowon: Seoul

AsInZOIis produced by a South Korean company, Krafton, it’s not surprising that one of the two cities available at launch is inspired by South Korea’s capital city, Seoul. Like Seoul,Dowon is a bustling, modern citythat’s filled with high-rise skyscrapers, trendy cafés, and offers many opportunities for apartment living.

Seoul is known for seamlessly blending the traditional with the new, and Dowon offers the same experience. Players will find traditional temples nestled between modern skyscrapers, and find that both offer a glimpse into South Korea’s culture. WhenexploringInZOI’s Dowon, players may spot landmarks that actually exist in Seoul, such as the Lotte World Tower.

inZOI delays early access release date

Kucingku: Bali

The third announced city,Kucingku, is not available yet, and will be added in a futureInZOIupdate. For Kucingku, players get to travel to a world based on an inhabited Indonesian island. Kucingku draws inspiration from Indonesia’s many tropical seaside resort towns, with Bali often cited as the most direct inspiration. Here, the beach and ocean play an even bigger role in the community than Bliss Bay, with snorkeling becoming an activity once Kucingku becomes available in a future update.

As Kucingku isn’t available yet, it’s currently unknown what kind of families inhabit Kucingku, or what housing style will be dominant. Bali typically features two types of housing: more simple, community-driven housing that the locals typically use, while foreign residents and tourists inhabit villas, which typically include a swimming pool and garden. Both types of housing, and tools to create both, may be available when Kucingku isadded toInZOIin an update.

An InZOI City Inspired by the USA

Bliss Bay: Santa Monica, California

Bliss Bay is based on a city found across the planet from Seoul, Santa Monica. Set against the backdrop of the ocean, those who have been to Santa Monica will recognize inspiration drawn from Santa Monica Pier, including the iconic Ferris wheel. Bliss Bay’s seaside resort and beaches are landmarks of the city, and serve as a contrast to Dowon’s urban landscape.

Like other cities in the USA,Bliss Bay features suburban residential lotsand green spaces, giving the Zois who live there a life in suburbia. The weather in Bliss Bay mirrors that of Los Angeles, and so many venues in the city are outdoors, such as its unique Outdoor Wedding Venue. Like Dowon, Bliss Bay features a mix of detached houses and apartment blocks, but with more standalone houses as options. A key feature of Bliss Bay is the beach lifestyle it offers, and surf shops, casual cafés, and the pierside amusement park all serve to emulate the laid-back lifestyle and beach culture of southern California.
