Summary

One Piece’sElbaf arc has blown all expectations out of the water and fans know that whatever Oda has revealed so far is only the tip of the iceberg. There is even more exciting stuff coming up, and big battles are being lined up as well.

But above all else, fans need to keep in mind thatOne Piece’sFinal Saga is going to be dangerous for all characters, including the Straw Hat Pirates, and when it comes to Elbaf, it is most certainly going to spell danger for many of those residing in the land do the Giants, especially since Imu has made their way to the country now and will stand in Luffy’s path. Things are about to get more chaotic than ever before, and character deaths are on the cards as well.

Why Imu’s Arrival Spells Trouble For Elbaf

One Piece’sElbaf arc was rather strange, in the sense that the main villain of the arc was not clear for quite a while. Eventually, Oda revealed the Holy Knights, Shamrock, and Gunko, and the fans were convinced that they were going to serve as the main villains of the arc. All that changed when Shamrock had to head back due to the Holy Land being covered in flames. In his stead, Imu sent forth Killingham and Sommers, and with Gunko, their goal was to take the kids to Marijoa as hostages and get the Giants to submit to the World Government and serve as their slave army.

Mu will show thee the dominance of a God! — Imu

However, since they took long, Imu had other ideas. As seen inOne Piecechapter 1149, Imu turned up to Elbaf and now serves as the main villain, and for me, this spells danger for everyone, including Luffy, despite having Gear 5.

Some fans might not realize how much trouble Elbaf is in. The Holy Knights, the Yonko, and even the likes of Whitebeard and Roger are not comparable to what Imu is. A literal god has made landfall in Elbaf, and this is time for Oda to show what One Piece’s biggest villain can do. One good thing is that Imu isn’t directly present in Elbaf and only has access to Gunko’s body, which should limit him in some way, but he’s still going to be overwhelmingly stronger than everyone else.

Dorry and Brogy Could Die In Elbaf, Along with Jarul

Loki and Hajrudin Are Built Up As New Leaders

The Elbaf arc has death flags on many charactersin my opinion, and quite possibly the character that has the biggest death flag is Jarul. Jorul is already dead, which means that Jarul won’t stay alive for long. He’s also 408 years old, and is someone that Oda probably won’t keep alive for long, especially since the next generation of Giants is on the rise.

What light shall be erased from the world now, Imu Sama? — Five Elders

Two other characters that Oda might kill off in this arc are Dorry and Brogy. This might seem odd to some, but the reason for this is simply that Loki and Hajrudin are rising and they need to take their important place in Elbaf as its leaders of the next generation before the Final War begins. This can’t happen as long as Dorry and Brogy are around. Now that Imu is in the Sun Realm, it is likely that Dorry and Brogy will meet a gruesome fate. Even some Straw Hats could be in danger, especially Robin and Usopp. Usopp has always had death flags and he might have a near-death experience like Luffy did in Wano.

Luffy Has To Beat Imu Gunko

to save everyone, Luffy is the only one who can do something. He is a God, just like Imu, and the only one that Imu fears. Luffy will likely be trained by Gaban in the Underworld, and eventually, everyone will launch an all-out assault on Imu and the Holy Knights to win, but make no mistakes, even though they will likely win, the losses will be great, and Imu will be back in Marijoa without a single scratch.
