How to Use Photo Mode in Mario Kart World
Players can access the Photo Mode ofMario Kart Worldbypressing the Minus (–) Buttonon the left controller while in-game. The Minus Button isused to take photos and can be used in Free Roam,single-player races, and Replays. When players hit the – Button to take photos, the game will freeze and allow them to freely move the camera within a certain vicinity from the player-controlled character. Here are the buttons that players have available to them:
Zooms the camera in or out
Tilts the camera at different angles
Goes through a selection of poses for the player character
Y
Expression
Goes through a selection of facial expressions for the player character
Makes the player character face the camera position
Changes the focal lenses
Provides frames at the borders
Plus (+)
Guide
Allows players to close the HUD and take images without button prompts
Allows players to take images
Finish
Closes the Photo Mode
Once players have taken an image, they can select the Home Button on the right controller of the Nintendo Switch 2, where the bottom of the screen will have an Album icon. Selecting Album will allow players to view their taken images, where they can inspect them for a closer look, and evenupload them to a Smart Device through the Nintendo Switch App.
