How to Unlock the Smart Cover Skill in The Division 2 Battle for Brooklyn
To unlock the Smart Cover inThe Division 2: Battle For Brooklyn DLC, players first need to completethe mission “H5 Refinery.“As players complete the mission and successfully blow up the refinery, they’ll receive a call from Theo about an attack that’s targeting The Bridges HQ. This is a side mission that involves players rushing to Bridges while eliminating threats along the way.
Once the side mission is complete and the Bridges HQ is safe, head inside to play a cutscene with Theo Parnell and Agent Hoskins. After that, you’llunlock both variants of the Smart Cover skill. Now, all you need to do is head over to your skill selection menu and equip one of them.
How Does Smart Cover Skill Work?
As discussed before, theSmart Cover skill comes in two variations:Precision and Fortified. While the former focuses on increasing your damage output and making firefights efficient, the latter improves survivability in the field. Simply launch the skill on any surface that can be used to take cover, and it’ll start glowing green. Players who take cover within the radius of the skill will get the buffs according to the variant of Smart Cover used.
