ThroughoutRune Factory: Guardians of Azuma’smain questline, you’ll be told you need to visit a certain location between set hours in the day. The problem is, time moves very slowly inRune Factory: Guardians of Azuma’sworld. As such, you may be left sitting around just waiting for the hours to pass until you can advance the storyline. This is particularly frustrating earlier on in the game when there aren’t as many things to do around each of your villages. Fortunately, there is an option that players can use topass time and skip to two different times later in the day.
How to Skip Time in Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma
Time flies when you find the right mechanic!
To skip time, players need to go to their bed in the village’s dragon shrine and interact with it. There will be three options that players can use:
The sleep option will end the day and total up any XP you’ve earned. You’ll then wake up at 6:00 AM the following day. This is another option that themain questline will have you doing regularly, but some bond quests for companions will also require you to wait a day.
Waiting until noon will simply skip forward until 12:00 PM. This can be handy if you’ve got to wait until 3:00 PM or even just midday itself. The screen will go black, and within seconds, time will have advanced.
Thewait until nighttime option will have you taking back control of your character at 7:00 PM that evening.
A lot of the main quests require you to visit a certain location either at 7:00 PM or 9:00 PM, so ‘wait until nighttime’ is the best option if you don’t have anything else you want to do that day and just want to quickly skip forward.
While it might seem counterintuitive in a game likeRune Factory: Guardians of Azumato rush through the main quests and skip through days, the game really starts to properly open up once you’ve spent a good 10 hours or so into the game. The further you advance in the main questline, the more mechanics you’ll have access to around each of your villages, and the more things you’ll need to keep on top of. At this stage, you’ll naturally find that you’ll need to use the ability to pass time a bit less, but towards the beginning, don’t be afraid to use this option if you just need to get to the next objective quickly.
Sleeping through until the next day can also help with yourmoney making efforts in the gameby advancing the growth of your crops.
