Set Up Zelda Notes
After a player has confirmed that they meet all the requirements for item sharing, they will need to set upZelda Notes. As previously mentioned, this is a service that is accessed through theNintendo Switch App, which is available through the App Store and Google Play, and thisguide to using Zelda Notesdetails that process.
Deposit Items in BotW & TotK
Once the Zelda Notes service is set, players are ready to start depositing bows, shields, weapons, and materials into their item box. Here is how that is done:
Players can now open Zelda Notes via theNintendo Switch Appon their smart device. Players can then select the Item Sharing icon, and they will find that the items that they deposited appear in their item box.
The item box can hold 100 items at a time.

At this point, players can start sharing their item box with others, allowing them to withdraw items from it or deposit items into it. This is how that sharing is done:

When a player finally has an item in their item box that they would like to use in-game, they should select it in Zelda Notes and choose"Send to Game"at the bottom. Players should then return to eitherBreath of the WildorTears of the Kingdomand take these actions:
How to Transfer Items Between Breath of the Wild & Tears of the Kingdom
Zelda Notes' Item Sharing feature also allows players to transfer items betweenTears of the KingdomandBreath of the Wild. To do this, players should simply select an item that they have stored in their item box, click"Game Transfer"at the bottom of the screen, and “move” it.
Some items will be altered or converted intorupeeswhen transferred in this fashion. It is also important to note that once an item has been transferred, it cannot be transferred again.
