Have Murasame in Your Party
One of the easiest ways to increase your Bond level with Murasame, especially starting out, is byplacing him in your Partyas soon as you’re able to. When you explore areas outside the main villages and defeat enemies in the field, occasionally he’ll make positive remarks about your character or his progress as a swordsman.
These activities will passively boost your Bond with him, as indicated by the notification on the right side (seen above).
Murasame Hangout Choices
Another simple method to increase your Bond with Murasame includes choosing the correctHangout optionswhen interacting with him. Hangouts involve talking with Murasame about topics he enjoys, and there are topics he loves to talk about and ones he likes if the former isn’t an option.
When you see the current hangout options displayed, be mindful of which one you pick, aseach one will have a minimum Bond Level requirement indicatednext to it. For example, if your Bond with Murasame is currently at Level 1 and a Level 3 hangout option is listed, refrain from picking that one as Murasame will imply that your connection isn’t strong enough for that type of activity, and then your hangout opportunity for the day will be wasted.
Murasame likes the following Hangout Choices:

How to Marry Murasame in Rune Factory Guardians of Azuma
To be able to marry Murasame, you first need to reachBond Level 10. You can continue to do this via previously mentioned methods such as bringing him along in your Party, giving him gifts, and choosing the correct Hangout options.
Once you’ve reached that Bond Level, Woolby will approach you about marrying Murasame. You’ll receive two items that you need to use to take the necessary steps toward making a marriage official - aRed Plum Tree Saplingand theDivine Spirits crafting recipe.
First, plant the Red Plum Tree Sapling in the “backyard” area of any of the Village shrines (Spring might make the most sense with Murasame). To clarify, this is the open grassy area you can see behind the Save statue in the shrine.
Next, you need tocraft the Divine Spirits, which requires1 x Riceand1 x Wisteria. Once you’ve completed those steps and the sapling is planted, wait a few days until the sapling grows big enough. Then go to the tree and take a branch from it. Go find Murasame and ask him to come with you to theFateweaver Shrine.
This action confirms your decision to marry Murasame, and means that you will not be able to back out and pursue romance with any other character from this point.
How to Have a Child
A few days after your marriage, your partner will approach you about the prospect of expanding the family, ie - having a child. You have the choice to ‘accept’ their proposal or not, however there is an achievement for doing it, so it’s recommended to at least the first time around.
If and when you ‘accept’ to have a child, the two of you will return to the Fateweaver Shrine. A few days later, your child will be born, and you’ll have the chance to decide their gender and name. Their appearance will be based on that of your character and your married partner.
